For a successful AMR encoding in MediaCoder, you have these steps to follow:
- Update MediaCoder to 0.6.0.3760 or later
- Download and install AMR Codec Pack for MediaCoder
- Start MediaCoder, switch to Audio tab and set Audio Encoder to AMR
- You can choose between AMR-NB or AMR-WB in the AMR tab on the right side
- Do click on either AMR-NB or AMR-WB radio box as this clicking will make the correct resample and channel options (8Khz/mono for AMR-NB and 16Khz/mono for AMR-WB)
Creio que no Brasil milhões de pessoas se beneficiariam se possuissem um tutorial em portugues para orientá-las no uso do MediaCoder. Sei que é um programa excelente, mas não temos oportunidade de usá-lo por falta instruções a respeito.

1)Atualize o seu Mediacoder para a versão 0.6.0.3760 ou posterior.
2) Baixe e instale o AMR Codec Pack for MediaCoder.
3)Inicie o Mediacoder, clique na aba de audio e ajuste o Audio Encoder para AMR.
4) Você pode escolher entre AMR-NB (faixa reduzida de menor qualidade, porém menor tamnho de arquivo) ou AMR-WD (faixa ampla, maior qualidade, maior tamanho de arquivo).
5)Clique em uma das caixas (AMR NB ou WB)para confirmar sua escolha. A NB tem um canal de 8Khz/mono e a WB de 16Khz/mono.
Bem, não sei se essas faixas de KHz interferem mesmo na qualidade do som, mas foi o que eu pude compreender.
