The benchmarking feature for transcoding is added. The information will be displayed after the transcoding of a file completes in the Properties side bar.
Some explanations:
- Time elapsed: number of seconds used to transcode the file
- Frames: number of frames encoded (only display on video transcoding)
- Speed: frame per second (video transcoding only) and speedups (to play time)
- 16×16 M.B. Rate: the number of 16×16 macroblocks encoded in a second (regardless of the actually M.B. size of encoder)
Hi, I love MediaCoder, but you are still using an old Lame-Codec, arent you?
3.98 Beta 5 is up-to-date, but according to your Changelog MediaCoder still uses 3.98 Alpha 6.
So please upgrade, as there landed a lot of fixes affecting quality and speed.
Actually LAME 3.98b5 is already included in 0.6.0.387x and later.
