AudioCoder 2011 (formally named MediaCoder Audio Edition) is released lately. With support of up to 8 concurrent tasks, converting a bunch of your favorite songs can be faster than ever. As a test of converting a whole music album from APE+cuesheet to HE-AAC on a Intel i7-i2600 CPU shows, 16 songs only takes 16 seconds to complete. Besides the super fast conversion speed, AudioCoder 2011 also supports fast 2-pass audio normalization based on the ReplayGain calculation algorithm which perfectly keeps the transcoded audio at the same average volume level.

MediaCoder 2011 RC3 is released with Intel Media SDK encoder integrated (Stanley posted on February 25th, 2011 )
One of the significant improvements in MediaCoder 2011 RC is that Intel Media SDK Encoder is first time added to MediaCoder as an alternative accelerated H.264 encoder in addition to previous nVidia CUDA encoder. Intel’s encoder is hardware accelerated on Intel G45 and later platforms. It encodes H.264 as well as MPEG-2 off-loaded to GPU. Benchmarks are welcomed for encoding with Intel’s encoder working in MediaCoder. For more changes, please refer to the changelog.
MediaCoder Dropbox a new way to share your transcoding settings (Stanley posted on February 6th, 2011 )
MediaCoder Dropbox is a simplistic user interface of MediaCoder which can be used to convert media files for a specific purpose so easily and conveniently. The appearance and transcoding parameters of a MediaCoder dropbox are defined by an XML file which can be on local disk, on remote server or embedded in any web pages. With this mechansim, users can create, publish and share their specific transcoder. Using MediaCoder dropbox is even easier. Simply load a dropbox whether local or remote, and drop media files into it and you can start transcoding.
